Chattanooga: Frizzell gets 8 years in prison for traffic death
The strange odyssey of Steven Tyler Frizzell, who was unable to escape the spotlight after being caught buying beer while out on bond on a charge of vehicular homicide, ended Monday when he pleaded guilty to causing the death of a man and severely injuring his wife and her friend during a drunken driving crash.

Speed and alcohol are major causes of traffic deaths. With less speed, particularly in places other than on the freeways, many accidents could be avoided. And by simply not drinking and driving, 40 percent of traffic deaths could be avoided.
